The last day to drop out of the tournament without a $100 penalty is Friday, December 15, 2023. After January 1, 2024, there are no refunds.

There is no boys-specific division in the Blastoff. The Bayou Region allows boys to play with and against girls teams in 10s, 11s, 12s, 13s, and 14s.

The Bayou Region does not grant waivers, nor are waivers from other regions accepted.

Teams can only compete if they have a completed AES Blastoff roster printed out to present to the officials at each match. There are NO exceptions. There is no pre-tournament check-in or meeting. Club directors and coaches are responsible for this. We will not be able to assist with this on site, so please get your rosters completed and have printed copies with you for each match.

The schedule will be posted on AES the week of the event.

Waves:

— Morning (8 a.m. first serve): 14s, 16s, 17s, 18s

— Afternoon (2:30 p.m. first serve): 10s, 11s, 12s, 13s, 15s

Reminder, anything can change at any time, but barring something really unusual, these waves should hold.

In addition, every player, coach and team rep gets a free T-shirt from the Louisiana Governor’s Games.

Age-group champions and runners up should report to the awards/photo area immediately after their respective title matches.

NO ADVANCE SALES, NO WEEKEND PASSES. Admission is $12 per person per day if paying by credit card, $15 per person per day if paying by cash. Fans 8-and-under are free. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express accepted.

The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center announced a new partnership with ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America and part of the EasyPark Group. As a result of this new partnership, event attendees and guests to the Convention Center can now reserve and pay for parking before their visit via ParkMobile’s online parking reservations and digital payment platform. Users can also pay for parking onsite through the ParkMobile app.

The New Orleans Convention Center will continue to have staff working its parking lots, including “Lot F” across from Hall H. That’s also the least expensive place to park at $20/day ($40 for oversized vehicles).

The tournament is in Halls B, C, and D.

Police will also patrol the pedestrian park in front of the building all day all three days.

CHAIRS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE CONVENTION CENTER.

Not allowed: Outside food, coolers, tables, chairs or audio speakers. That includes phones on speaker, bluetooth speakers and portable speakers.
