PLEASE NOTE FOR THOSE IN NEW ORLEANS:

The Alario Center is a State of Louisiana property and is run by the Superdome Commission.  It has the same rules and regulations as the Dome and Smoothie King Center.  Absolutely no food or drink can be brought into the building.  You cannot bring in any liquids, not even water bottles. May we suggest you bring your own “empty” water bottle and fill it from the water fountain once you enter the building.

Players, coaches and spectators “bags will be checked” and everyone who enters will be “screened” as well.  Every time you leave and reenter, you will be checked/screened with the same protocol. This is the same process in place when you go to a New Orleans Saints or Pelicans game.

The last day to drop out of the tournament without a $100 penalty is Friday, February 25, 2024. After March 10, 2024, there are no refunds.

Age Waivers

The Bayou Region does not grant waivers, nor are waivers from other regions accepted.

Teams

Rosters

Not required for registration, but must be presented at the tournament.
Teams can only compete if they have a completed AES Block Party roster printed out to present to the officials at each match. There is no pre-tournament check-in or meeting. Club directors and coaches are responsible for this. We will not be able to assist with this on-site, so please get your rosters completed and have printed copies with you for each match.

Trophies and Medals

Age-group champions and runners up should report to the awards/photo area immediately after their respective title matches.

Safe Sport

SAFE SPORT: Every player or coach who is 18 or will turn 18 during this club season must have taken the Safe Sport Training. There are no exceptions, so if you have an athlete who is 18, please go to: https://www.teamusa.org/usa-volleyball/about-us/safesport/safesport-training

ADMISSION IS BY CREDIT CARD ONLY, NO ADVANCE SALES. $13 per person, free for 8-and-under. This is a CASHLESS even. ONLY Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Venmo accepted.

Chairs will be provided at all venues. Please do not bring chairs into any gym.

Not Allowed

Please leave these items at home.
Not allowed inside venues: Coolers, tables, or audio speakers. That includes phones on speaker, bluetooth speakers and portable speakers.

Girls Baton Rouge Block Party Venue Notes

This will all be updated soon, but here are some things you need to know about where we’ll be playing this year.

There is a bowling tournament taking up the main floor of the Raising Cane’s River Center, but we will still have four courts upstairs at that site downtown.
